Spring has sprung at Chunky Monkeys and we have been enjoying lots more time in the garden and park with the start of some brighter days.
We have started to plan the garden as we think we can finally say goodbye to frosty nights. Hannah ( unofficial head gardener nursery nurse) has put her order in for her bulbs and vegetables and the children have been helping her with the weeding.
March has also seen the excitement and build up to Easter, with lots of Easter and Spring related craft being made by the children and chocolate rice crispy cakes a plenty in our cookery sessions. You may have been lucky enough to have one as a gift from you child if they resisted eating it in nursery or in the car on the way home.
We have been trying to get out and about as much as possible in our new bus and have enjoyed some fantastic trips to Bryngarw Park, Porthcawl, the library, Margam Park, Amelia Trust Farm and St Fagans. We have lots more trips planned in the coming months as the children have loved every minute.
All the rooms are looking fantastic at the moment with all their Spring displays, please look out for pictures on our social media pages.
We already have some fantastic things planned for April and our Open Day on 16th between 10am-2pm. We would love to see everyone.
